queXS An Open Source, web based CATI system

queXS 0.9.6 has been released on SourceForge today.

New features:

• Lithuanian Translation (Thank you zimi)
• As many strings as possible made available for translation (see lang.inc.php)
• Quota management (stop calling a sample when a quota is reached)
• Quota row management (stop calling selected parts of a sample when a quota is reached)
• No login required for LimeSurvey (if permissions granted in queXS)
• Link from case management to modifying responses in LimeSurvey
• Display outcomes by sample within a questionnaire
• Display of appointments in supervisor mode

Bug fixes:

• Licence updates to comply with FSF
• Only return one record per sample record in samplesearch.php
• Fixed case not ending on time bug (reported by zimi)
• Fixed where 12pm showing up as 12am

queXC, the 4th package in the queX Suite has been released today on Sourceforge

queXS 0.9.5 has been released today on Sourceforge

This release is also a Release Candidate. A feature freeze is in place (although more translations are welcome), and if no further bugs are discovered, this will become queXS version 1.0.0.

New features include:

• Italian translation (Thanks to Diego Donati)
• Dutch translation (Thanks to Hugo Vandenplas)
• Full transaction support
• Limesurvey will now skip the welcome screen
• Text size in the admin menu improved

Bug fixes include:

• Removed references to next() in loops which were unpredictable
• queXML export now uses adoDB functions correctly (Thanks to Tim Wahrendorff)

Using the Launchpad system, Diego Donati has kindly translated queXS into Italian. Thank you Diego!

The translation is now available in SVN (you can download and manually add these files to your queXS installation directory) and will be added to the next release of queXS

queXS can be translated from English to your native language using just your web browser - with Launchpad.

If you have time, please translate queXS. I will include your translation in the code as soon as you let me know it is done.

queXS 0.9.4 has been released on SourceForge today.

New features:

• Ability to "watch" the Asterisk server from the browser without needing to run a process from the command line

Bug fixes:

• Fixed warning messages thrown by lang.inc.php

queXS 0.9.3 has been released on SourceForge today.

New features:

• Split configuration file in to default and user
• LimeSurvey configuration now relies on queXS configuration (so only config.inc.php need be configured by the user)
• Creating a new questionnaire in LimeSurvey will have required queXS settings by default

Bug fixes:

• Removed direct links to internal DCARF addresses
• Will create a respondent even if no firstName or lastName is given (in RDD samples)
• admin/addshift.php: All days show up by using day_of_week database as source
• Replaced _top with _self to make sure LimeSurvey windows only open within admin frame
